Centre d'Initiation à la Nature et l'Environnement

Installed in the Château Trigallez de Leval-Trahegnies, this structure offers possibilities for walking, relaxation, and observing the particular flora and fauna found here. The Courte coal tips at Ressaix and Leval-Trahegnies have been classified as sites of great landscape and biological interest since 1992, and a regional nature reserve (‘réserve domaniale’) since 2007. Their aim is to teach the public to discover the environment and, with the knowledge they have gained, to protect it.
